Morgan spent six years planning parties and events before noticing that the favorite part of every job was the same one: building the welcome baskets — deciding what goes in, in what order, for what budget.

When boo baskets spread from TikTok in 2023, Morgan started documenting the themes, the price bands and the filler categories that kept reappearing, with the spreadsheet energy of somebody who once seated four hundred wedding guests without a single feud.

Off-season obsessions include Christmas Eve boxes, Easter baskets (a controversial crossover) and defending candy corn in public.

How Morgan works

• Format before product

  A basket is a recipe: a theme, a few categories, one thing that feels expensive. The product list comes last.

• Budget stated out loud

  Every idea says roughly what it costs to build, because "cute idea" and "affordable idea" are not the same sentence.

• No invented tests

  We explain how to choose. We do not claim to have tested products we have not, and we never publish a price or rating we cannot source.
