We take Halloween gifting unreasonably seriously
Boo Baskets exists to answer one question really well: what do I put in this basket?
Our mission
Boo Baskets is a single-subject site about one Halloween tradition: the boo basket. It started because the trend spread faster on social feeds than anyone bothered to explain it, and "what actually goes in one" deserved a straight answer rather than a slideshow.
Every guide here is a buying guide. We explain the theme, the format, the realistic budget and how to choose fillers that suit the person you are boo-ing. We do not lab-test products, and you will never find an invented test result, price or rating on this site.
The site is funded by Amazon affiliate links. They never decide what gets recommended, and they never change what you pay.
How we work
- Buying guides, not lab reviews. We explain how to choose a filler — the format, the category, what suits which recipient. We do not claim to have tested products we have not.
- No invented numbers. No made-up prices, ratings or review counts. Where a price appears, it comes from live retailer data; otherwise we send you to check it yourself.
- Seasonal review. Guides are re-read before the season starts, and anything that has gone stale is updated or removed.
- Affiliate transparency. We earn a commission when you buy through our Amazon links. It never changes what we recommend — the full disclosure explains exactly how it works.
The human behind it
Boo Baskets is written and edited by Morgan Hale, a former party and event planner who discovered that basket-building is eighty percent of the fun of Halloween. Say hi through the contact page — reader basket photos are our favorite emails.
